It felt incredibly special stepping out of the lobby doors, just around the corner, finding the trail leading directly to the Arch.
The hotel is also just a few blocks from Busch Stadium and Ballpark Village.

The Drury Plaza Hotel St. Louis at the Arch boasts an ideal location in downtown St. Louis.
Not only does it have amazing views of the Arch, but it is also the perfect home base for exploring downtown St. Louis.
We LOVE that we can walk to the Arch and its surrounding grounds anytime we want.
It feels extra special to beat the crowds in the morning as well as enjoy the area in the evening when less people are around.
My boys love kicking a ball around with the Arch as a backdrop.
It really is a great way to soak in the beauty of the area and make an incredible memory as well!
Even more, the location of the Drury Plaza Hotel St. Louis at the Arch makes it easy to get to other iconic attractions in St. Louis.
It is an easy 6 minute walk to Busch Stadium and Ballpark Village which has many great dining options including my favorite restaurant, Salt & Smoke
Expert Recommendation
A great restaurant to try is Salt and Smoke which is just a couple of blocks from the Drury Plaza Hotel. We have done both dine in as well as take out from Salt and Smoke. It has great food plus a kids menu! It is also fun to see a view of Busch Stadium while eating at Salt and Smoke.
For more dining options, it is only a 12 minute walk to Lacledes Landing which is where the family friendly Old Spaghetti Factory is located.
Additionally, it is an easy and quick drive to the City Museum and Union Station.

We love staying at the Drury Plaza Hotel St. Louis at the Arch because of the value that it offers families.
The Evening Kickback is the perfect way to unwind after a busy day of exploration.
This Kickback offers a wide array of food including soup, salad, hot dogs, nachos, and more.
Besides all of food, the 5:30 Kickback also offers soft drinks, beer, wine, and mixed drinks.

In addition to the Kickback, the Drury Plaza Hotel St. Louis at the Arch also has a fantastic complimentary breakfast with so much to choose from.
My kids love the Belgian waffles.
Plus, the hotel provides popcorn and soda throughout the day in the lobby.

3. Family Friendly Spacious Rooms including 2-room Suites
With a family of 6, we need a hotel room that is spacious and has enough beds to fit everyone.
Our room had a bedroom with 2 queen beds as well as a separate living room with a pull-out sofa bed.
All of the rooms have a mini refrigerator and microwave which is very convenient especially with young kids.
Some of the rooms are interior facing but the windows look into an atrium which still allows for some light.
You can even book a room with an Arch view!

4. Eighth Floor Terrace with Arch Views
The eighth floor terrace with a view of the Arch is a unique feature at the Drury Plaza Hotel.
Guests can sit on the lounge chairs and tables to enjoy food and beverage while taking in the breathtaking Arch views.
This terrace connects to the indoor pool and spas. It is also a great place to dry off during the summer after swimming.
We LOVED hanging out on the terrace and soaking in the Arch views.
5. Exceptional Amenities at the Drury Plaza Hotel at the Arch
The Drury Plaza Hotel St. Louis at the Arch is top notch!
The hotel is exceptionally clean.
It also has gorgeous fancy decor throughout it.
The lobby is incredible and has a really neat Lewis and Clark with Sacagawea sculpture with water feature.
The hotel even has a gold elevator.
Additionally, it has a large pool on the 8th floor with two hot tubs.
It even has a 24 hour fitness center.
Plus you can’t forget the complimentary hot breakfast, 5:30 Kickback, and free popcorn and soda.
We will definitely stay at the Drury Plaza Hotel St. Louis at the Arch again on our next visit to St. Louis.
I would give it a 10 out of 10 and recommend it to anyone looking to visit the St. Louis area.
