The entrance to Science City is inside of Kansas City's Union Station. Parking is available in Union Station's parking garage for a fee.
Admission is $14.50 for anyone over 12 months of age. You will want to spend about 3-4 hours at Science City. This museum is perfect for all ages from babies all the way up to teens and adults.
Kids LOVE climbing in the HELICOPTER and seeing the inside. Parents love getting a cute photo op!
INTERACTIVE PUZZLES are perfect for the older crowd! My 9 year old was obsessed. It is super fun to try to solve these brain teasers and challenges.
ALL ABOARD is such a cute exhibit for the younger kids. They can check out the model miniature train, play with trains and tracks, and pretend they are working or staying in a dining or sleeping train car.
SIMPLE MACHINES AT PLAY is an awesome outdoor exhibit where kids can zip line, climb, spin, lift levers, race, and so much more in order to learn and understand how simple machines work.
TOT LOT and LET'S PLAY are two exhibit for kids 0-3. I love that even the youngest visitors have a couple of special areas where they can learn and explore as well!
MR. E HOTEL is full of optical illusions and lots of laughs. STEP RIGHT UP tests your carnival game skills while you learn science concepts. EVERY LAST DROP is all about water! The TREEHOUSE is so fun to explore!
